Crunchy Apple Pudding

Ingredients Needed:

6 cups sliced apples
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1/3 cup butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup cornflakes, crumbled
1/2 cup sifted flour
1/2 tsp nutmeg or cinnamon
grated orange rind
2 Tbsp butter

 

 

Cooking Instructions:

Arrange the apples in a buttered baking dish.
Sprinkle with the 2 Tbsp sugar and pour half of the orange juice over them. Work the 1/3 cup butter and 1/3 cup brown sugar together until creamy. Add the cornflakes, flour, spices and orange rind. Mix well and spread over the apples. Pour on the remaining orange juice and dot with butter. Bake at 375 for about 45 minutes. Serve warm with cream or hard sauce. (Serves 6).
